PM Awas Gramin List Name Check and PMAY-G Beneficiary Status

To check your name in the PM Awas Gramin list, open the “Panchayat Wise permanentwait List” report on pmayg.dord.gov.in and select your state, district, block and gram panchayat. Your row shows your registration number. Enter that number under Stakeholders, then IAY/PMAYG Beneficiary, to see your PMAY-G beneficiary status: sanction, instalments and construction progress.

Key facts

The Ministry of Rural Development’s portal is pmayg.dord.gov.in, with reports on report.pmayg.dord.gov.in and searches on awaassoft.pmayg.dord.gov.in. The old pmayg.nic.in address did not load when we checked.

Step 1: PM Awas Gramin list name check

1. Open pmayg.dord.gov.in and click Most Often Used Services.
2. Choose “Panchayat Wise permanentwait List”.
3. Select your state. Then select your district, block and gram panchayat as each list loads.
4. Click Submit.
5. Look for your name in the table. Each row gives the registration number, beneficiary name, father’s name, mother’s name, category (SC, ST or others) and priority rank.
6. Write down your registration number. It begins with your state’s code, for example BH for Bihar.

Searching the list faster

• Names are in capital letters, often as in the SECC 2011 or Awaas+ record. Search the PDF with your father’s name if your own spelling differs.
• Priority numbers restart for each category, so rank 3 in SC and rank 3 in ST are different households.

Step 2: Check IAY/PMAYG beneficiary status

1. On pmayg.dord.gov.in, open the Stakeholders menu and click IAY/PMAYG Beneficiary.
2. Type your registration number or beneficiary ID in the “Registration Number / Beneficiary ID” box. The portal accepts 9 to 60 characters.
3. Enter the captcha and click Submit.
4. Read the details shown for your registration, including sanction and payments.

If your gram panchayat gave you a 9-digit Awaas Plus ID from the Awaas+ survey instead, use AwaasPlus Beneficiary Details with your state and that ID.

What the status tells you

Under the PMAY-G Framework for Implementation (2022), a household on the list moves through these stages:

Instalment amounts: two examples

Each state sets its own split of the ₹1.20 lakh (plains) or ₹1.30 lakh (difficult areas) assistance. The Installment Details report showed these on 17 September 2026:

Choose your own state in the report to see its split. You also get ₹12,000 for a toilet and 90 days of MGNREGS wages (95 in hill, difficult and North Eastern areas).

If an instalment has not arrived

1. Check that the stage photo has been geo-tagged. Ask your gram panchayat or block’s housing staff if it is pending.
2. Take the FTO number or PFMS ID from the block office and enter it in FTO Tracking on the portal. It shows whether the transfer was sent or rejected by the bank.
3. If the bank rejected it, ask the block office to correct your account details so the payment can be sent again.
4. Complain to the grievance officer at panchayat, block, district or state level. The Framework asks for complaints to be disposed of within 15 days. You can also use CPGRAMS at pgportal.gov.in.

If your name is not in the list

• Recheck the panchayat and category, and search by your father’s name.
• Ask the block office whether your household was surveyed in Awaas+ 2024. The portal posted a circular on 10 September 2026 giving states more time to finish that survey.
• If your name was deleted or your rank changed, complain within 15 days of the list being displayed for 7 days; a district appellate committee decides.

The first instalment is due within 7 days of sanction. If it is late, track the FTO and check that your bank account is verified.
