ICICI HPCL Super Saver Credit Card (2026) Review

Up to 6.5% value back on HPCL fuel, plus 5% on utility and grocery spends.

The ICICI HPCL Super Saver is a fuel-and-household card from ICICI Bank on the Visa network, rated 2.5 out of 5 on our published formula. It is best for fuel plus household bills at a low fee.

Our verdict

A cheaper alternative to the BPCL Octane if your fuel spend is moderate. The 5% on utilities and groceries is what makes the ₹500 fee easy to justify. If your spending is broader than fuel and utilities, a flat-rate card from our best cashback credit cards list will usually beat it.

Worth knowing

The 18% GST on the annual fee is the number most comparisons quietly omit. A ₹2,500 card actually costs ₹2,950 a year. Factor that in before deciding whether the rewards clear the bar. The same arithmetic applies here: the sticker fee is ₹500, the real cost is ₹590.

Compare with

Card Rating Effective return Annual fee
SBI Cashback Credit Card 3.2/5 4.2% ₹999
Tata Neu Infinity HDFC Bank Credit Card 3.2/5 2.8% ₹1,499
HDFC Bank Millennia Credit Card 2.8/5 2.4% ₹1,000

Fees above are shown before the 18% GST that is charged on top. Effective reward rate is our own blended estimate for a typical spend mix — not the accelerated rate an issuer advertises on one category.

The rest of the issuer’s range, and the loan and deposit products it is priced against, sit on our ICICI Bank page. Verify current terms on the issuer’s site before applying; card terms change without notice.
