State Bank of India publishes a home loan processing fee of 0.35% of the loan amount, subject to a minimum of ₹5,000 and a maximum of ₹15,000 plus GST for salaried borrowers. That is the fee it names; several other charges are quoted separately at sanction.

What sits outside the processing fee
Where a fee is quoted exclusive of tax, add 18% GST to get what you actually pay. Legal and technical valuation charges, CERSAI registration and any bundled insurance sit outside the processing fee and are quoted separately at sanction. Ask for the full schedule in writing before you accept the sanction letter, and read loan foreclosure and charges for what applies if you close the loan early.
Add the fee to the loan cost separately — it is not part of the EMI. The EMI calculator gives you the instalment on the principal and interest alone.
How it compares
