Which authority has your case

Haryana set up two real estate regulatory authorities under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016. HRERA Gurugram hears cases about projects in Gurugram district. HRERA Panchkula covers the rest of the state.

Your complaint number shows which one you filed with. RERA-GRG means Gurugram and RERA-PKL means Panchkula, which is why people also search for “rera pkl case status”. Our page on RERA authorities by state lists the portals for other states.

How to check HRERA case status online

  1. Go to haryanarera.gov.in and open the Complaints Status page, also linked as Search Complaint in the Complaint Registration menu.
  2. Under Case/Appeal Authority, select RERA-GRG for Gurugram, RERA-PKL for Panchkula or H-REAT for an appeal.
  3. Enter the Case/Appeal No. without the prefix or year.
  4. Select the Case/Appeal Year.
  5. Type the digits from the captcha image and search.
  6. Open the result to see the details the portal holds for your case.

HRERA Gurugram also runs its own portal, hareraggm.gov.in. It has separate searches for authority complaints, adjudicating complaints, execution cases and suo motu cases.

Check your hearing date in the cause list

The cause list is the day’s list of cases a bench will hear.

  1. Open the Cause List page from the Complaint Registration menu.
  2. Under Complaint Authority, choose RERA Panchkula, RERA Gurugram or Appellate Tribunal.
  3. Pick the date of hearing, enter the captcha and generate the list.
  4. Look for your complaint number.

Each authority’s own page also posts daily lists and notices. On 17 September 2026, HRERA Gurugram’s page listed authority, first-hearing, execution and adjudicating cause lists for 17 and 18 September. Three of its lists for those dates carried the note “All Cases are Adjourned”, so check these notices before you travel for a hearing.

Live hearing status in Panchkula

HRERA Panchkula’s page has a Live Case Hearing Status link. It lists the day’s complaints with the parties and a live status, such as “Hearing Yet to Start”. You can filter by complaint type, including execution and suo motu cases.

How to read the case type
